  • Yes! I am bonded and insured by Pet Care Insurance. Please contact me if you have questions about coverage.

  • I strap all dogs into a crash-tested safety harness while on the road. This adjustable harness and leash set (I have one for all sizes) can be used for walks too. If you’d prefer it, I can switch your dog into your harness or leash once parked. I am happy to supply water, toys, treats, and poop bags in either case, or you are welcome to supply your own. Excursions are private, meaning I will only take one client’s pets at a time. However, your dogs will likely be interacting with other pets and people at the park or on the trail. For this reason, I cannot take reactive dogs on excursions.

  • I use a crash-tested safety harness on all dogs that enter my car. The one I use is from Mighty Paw, and it has been tested with over 850 lbs of force. It also includes breathable padding to ensure your dog is comfortable. While adjustable, I do have the harness in every size to ensure the safest fit. I do not use crates or carriers for car transports, as they are often unsafe unless fitted to your dog specifically. I do, however, have a car barrier to keep your dog even more secure in the case of an emergency or road anxiety (which is very common in dogs!)

  • I do not charge a cancellation fee for walks or drop-ins. However, most of my clients do voluntarily pay a courtesy fee when they cancel same-day. I do not require it, though.

For overnight stays, I require a 50% booking deposit with a 72-hour cancellation window. If you cancel more than three days before your booking, I will return the deposit. If not, however, your deposit becomes nonrefundable.

I am a one-woman show, which means I book weeks if not months in advance. So a lost booking is actually quite a big deal to me and my little business!

On the off chance I ever need to cancel, I will return the deposit fee and gift you 20% off your next booking!

I also take cash or checks, which can be made out to Press Paws LLC.

I do not ever add gratuity fees to my bookings. Tips are always appreciated, but never expected.
